Connecting the dots in private air travel

Fly Louie launched in 2017 with the goal of matching underutilized aircraft with destinations and travelers in need of more air service. For 1.5 years, the team worked closely with independent operators and FBO partners to test private air shuttle routes. It was apparent from that experience that a bigger opportunity existed. Fly Louie resolved to convert their valuable expertise and relationships into a product that could benefit the independent private aviation industry at scale.

In September 2019, Fly Louie established the Fly Louie Alliance, a network of independent charter operators and Preferred FBO and Vendor partners. The Alliance has now become the largest fleet cooperative in America with a robust membership of 300+ operators that own 3,100+ aircraft. With the agility of a start-up and the strength of scale, Fly Louie works with leading private aviation businesses to deliver massive cost savings and fleet efficiencies, so that independent operators can continue to power a thriving aviation industry. In June 2023, Fly Louie introduced Alliance Pro, a new membership tier including first of their kind savings programs, valued at $10,000 and tailored to independent Part 135 operators. 

On December 1, 2024, Magellan Air acquired the private charter retail business from Fly Louie. Also, Stellar.Aero acquired the Platinum Sales business. As part of these transactions, Fly Louie team members, Dan Morrison, Matt Dalton and Liberty Feliciano, joined the Stellar team, and will continue to work with Alliance member operators previously enrolled in the Fly Louie Platinum Sales program.
